My Creative Space

After the Animal Challenge couple of weeks ago I'm still obsessed with those cute little creatures. So, I'm making one more necklace, this time it has two tiny hippos on it. That's how it looks so far.

And here is my army of animal figurines... waiting for their turn. I have wolfs and bears, two raccoons and even two adorable chihuahuas. :)

I have my very own zoo. :)

Have a great Thursday! ;)

Cute! But what a work to complete such a necklace!

Thank you, lovelies!
It takes really long, as I stitch only two seed beads at a time.

Ohh those animals are adorable. I have a thing for racoons and squirrels... but those wolves are pretty nice too!

Are they ceramic? So have you sliced them in half like Heidi does?

I love that you are using ammonite too - I've always wanted to use it and bought some a few months ago but want to plan out a special piece.

Thank you for all the compliments! I'll definitely show you the necklace when it's ready. ;)

Karyn, the hippos are rubber, and I did slice them, though it was tough job.
The rest of my zoo is ceramic and I'm not sure if it's even worth trying. I'm afraid to ruin them.
I like ammonites. And I was afraid to touch them for several month after the purchase, but then I just bought more to experiment with. :))

I might have to keep an eye out for some rubber animals then!
