Accidents happen... but let's take advantage of that! ;)

Last weekend I did one of the scariest things a beader can experience... I was organizing my seed bead stash and three bags of white seed beads (all in slightly different color) spilled all over my work table. Can you imagine the horror in my eyes when I heard them dropping and rolling?!!?
Of course, I quickly collected as much as I could and got approximately 50 grams of beautiful bead soup in all shades of white. =)) I decided that it's gonna take too much time to sort that pile, so I put it aside. But as you know nothing happens without a reason. ;)
Last night I was going through some old boxes and found a bracelet I made over 10 years ago. (It's really too scary to show it to you.) But that bracelet gave me an idea how to use my bead soup.
I added to the mix some leftover pearls from my previous projects...

Then half of the night I was stringing... and stringing... and stringing again.

Then I took my crochet hook...
and in the morning I had this.

I think I'm hooked on the process, as I love to crochet.
I'm planning to make more of these in all possible colors. What do you think? Is it wearable? Or should I stop at this one?

I would really appreciate your comments and opinions! ;)

And have you ever made anything from some spilled or weird leftover beads?

xo,

It is gorgeous! I think this "accident" is a blessing that makes you come up with something that's wearable for daily, eventual or even wedding functions. Good job!

Thank you, ladies, for the encouragement! I know that's not too original design as many people are making similar things, but it's something new for me, and I must say it's highly addictive! You can make so many different mixtures and use all the leftover and irregular beads. And I love that you never know what the end result will look like. =)

The horror! At least it was sorta one color! I've done that with a tray of colors, it was nightmarish, so I feel for you. That said, I'll say this, good save, I would totally wear that! Even in different colors! This looks so ethereal and pretty, you did a great job putting the combo together. How pretty would this be in shades of turquoise & teal? Good job!!
